I first discovered the Centre of Excellence courses during lockdown and have gone back many times over the last 7 years to learn something new.
When I decided to take a new career path in 2025, I started looking for the right course to give me the skills and confidence to make it happen. I discovered that the Centre of Excellence offered a business diploma in Professional Decluttering and Organising, and I couldn’t resist!

“Lucy’s journey to professional organising began in one of the hardest places a person can find themselves - clearing out the belongings of loved ones after loss. Having lost both her mother and her husband, Lucy took time to reflect on what truly mattered, and what emerged was a clear sense of purpose: a love of helping people, a gift for creating order, and the courage to start again.
She enrolled in the Business Diploma in Professional Decluttering and Organising to give that new chapter a proper foundation and build the confidence to start her own business. Sixteen months on, she’s working with clients in Cardiff, is a proud member of the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers, and says she absolutely loves what she does. We think that’s one of the most beautiful things we’ve ever heard.”
